Inspect the Package Contents

If the shipping box appears to be damaged, keep it until you have inspected the contents and performed basic functional tests.

Please verify that the box contains the items in the following table.

The VHFLI is equipped with a multi-mains switched power supply and can therefore be connected to most power systems worldwide. The fuse holder is integrated with the power inlet and can be extracted by grabbing it with two small screwdrivers at the top and bottom simultaneously. A spare fuse is contained in the fuse holder. The fuse specification is found in the Specifications chapter.

If there is mechanical damage or the instrument does not pass basic functional tests, notify Zurich Instruments support immediately at support@zhinst.com.

Verify that the instrument has a "Next Calibration" sticker on the back panel . Zurich Instruments recommends recalibrating lock-in amplifiers every 2 years. If the calibration date has passed, contact support@zhinst.com to arrange recalibration.

A sticker with the instrument's MAC address is also located on the back panel.
